Our 2025 fundraising initiative is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital—they aspire to treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. With your support, St. Jude can provide cutting-edge treatment at no cost to families.
Harry Glickman Award
The MJCC selects two winners for the Harry Glickman Award each year. Any Jewish student athlete who has lived in Oregon for the past three years and is a junior or senior in high school is eligible. Two winners are selected and recognized at our Community Celebration. This award was established in 2012, in honor of Harry Glickman (z”l), the “father” of professional sports in Oregon. He was the founder of the Portland Trail Blazers, the Trail Blazers’ President from ‘87-’94 and the founder of the Portland Buckaroos. He is also a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Applicants are judged on academic and athletic achievement as well as their commitment to community service. Winners receive a $500 scholarship for college. Students can apply at oregonjcc.org/glickman

The OADA Board is excited to announce (by popular demand) the opening of our OADA Swag store. The store will be open through the end of our annual conference (Please ignore 4/9 deadline). We will push this info out on our social media and have a link inside our conference app as well. Proceeds from the store will go directly back to the OADA Scholarship fund. We are looking forward to seeing you all soon in Sun River.
